Paul Asbury Seaman Many “various artists” comps are exactly that, and have a thrown-together feel. You buy it for the one or two stand-out tracks, but then it rarely gets played. This series is curated for continuity and the seamlessness is breathtaking. It has the sound and feel of a single album. There ought to be a net label releasing music that sounds like this. Oh, right. It’s called Synphaera Records. And that explains the pristine mastering by Synphaera’s Chris Bryant (of S1gns of L1fe and Ascendant).
